1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using FitToHire ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

FitToHire provides a resume-to-job-description matching service that analyzes resumes against job descriptions to provide fit scores, skill gap analysis, and coaching recommendations. The Service includes:

  • Resume parsing and skill extraction
  • Job description analysis
  • Fit score calculation with evidence
  • Skill gap identification
  • Personalized coaching suggestions
  • Batch candidate screening (Recruiter plan)

3. User Accounts

To use certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Upload malicious content or attempt to compromise the Service
  • Circumvent rate limits or abuse free tier allocations
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
  • Use automated systems to access the Service beyond normal API usage
  • Upload content you do not have rights to use

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its algorithms, user interface, and documentation, is owned by FitToHire. You retain ownership of your uploaded content (resumes, job descriptions). By uploading content, you grant us a license to process it for providing the Service.

6. Payment and Subscriptions

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of your billing period. Refunds are provided at our discretion. Prices may change with 30 days notice.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

  • The Service will meet your requirements
  • Results will be accurate or complete
  • The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free

Our analysis is informational and should not be the sole basis for hiring decisions.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FitToHire shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms or for any reason with reasonable notice. You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page.
